FAST CURING EPDM LIQUID RUBBER MEMBRANE

MYCROEP-COAT is a unique rubber coating that provides extremely effective protection, reducing costly re-applications. It is a one-component product that has excellent adhesion to properly prepared surfaces. It controls corrosion and rust bleed through, even after years of service. It is thermally stable and resists cracking and peeling due to weather extremes and ultraviolet exposure.

APPLICATION

❖ Surface preparation: The surface must be free of any oils, moisture, rust scale, soil or other contaminates that may interfere with good adhesion. Remove any loose material from seams or other surfaces with a wire brush or scraper. Oil and grease should also be removed with solvents or an appropriate detergent cleaner. In many cases high pressure water blast will be sufficient to prepare the surface.

❖ Application temperatures: For best results, the temperature of the ambient air and the substrate should be within a range of 15 -35 0C. For best spray application, the product should be at a minimum of 15 0C. Lower temperatures can be utilized for brush applications.
❖ Application methods: MYCROEP-COAT can be applied by brush, spray or roller. Best results can be obtained with airless spray equipment.

USES

❖ MYCROEPDM is designed for application on RCC terraces and roofs, over existing bitumen or membranes, Gutters and flashings, Water tanks (non-potable), Roof slabs, parapets, Planter boxes, Pipe penetration areas

LIMITATION

❖ Cannot be applied in rain or high humidity conditions.
❖ Slower curing in cold or damp weather.
❖ Some variants may not be suitable for potable water tanks (check certification).
❖ Surface must be dry and primed for proper adhesion.


DILUTION

❖ Do not add any water or other solvent. Directly apply on the concrete surface
